Missing Persons Network respects the privacy, dignity, and future wellbeing of every individual listed on this site. We do not maintain permanent public records of missing persons and provide a clear process for removing information when a case is resolved or upon request.


Automatic removal when located

When a missing person is found or a case is resolved, the listing is removed from public view immediately.

  • The case no longer appears in search results on our site
  • Public pages are disabled
  • Posters are no longer available
  • Search engines are asked to remove the page

We do not keep public archives of located individuals.

Requesting manual removal

If you are a family member, guardian, or authorised representative and would like a case removed or updated, you may contact us at any time.

We prioritise privacy and will act quickly to review and process legitimate requests.

To request removal, please include:
  • Person’s full name
  • Case number or page link (if known)
  • Your relationship to the person
  • Reason for removal or update

How quickly is information removed?

We aim to process removal requests as soon as possible, typically within 24–48 hours.

After removal:

  • The page is deleted from our site
  • Posters are disabled
  • Search engines are notified to drop the listing

Please note that search engines may take additional time to update their own caches.

Our data practices

Missing Persons Network only displays information necessary to help safely locate a missing person. We intentionally limit the amount of personal data published.

  • No public comments or discussions
  • No public user accounts required to view cases
  • No permanent public history once located
  • Tips are handled privately

Good faith policy

This platform operates in good faith to assist families and communities. If any information is inaccurate, outdated, or harmful, please contact us and we will correct or remove it promptly.

We will never intentionally keep information online that could harm someone’s safety, reputation, or future wellbeing.
