SUMMARY
- Kym L. Pasqualini is founder of the Nation’s Missing Children Organization, Inc., in 1994 and the National Center for Missing Adults (NCMA), in 2000. Pasqualini served as CEO until January 2010. Kym has spent nearly 20 years working with government entities pioneering national services for missing adults and their families. Working with national media and law enforcement she has advocated for victims of crime.
- Kym has been selected and served on several Advisory Boards and Task Forces; the United States Attorney General Missing Person Task Force, the President Bush DNA Advisory Board, the International Homicide Investigator’s Association – Unidentified Dead Task Force, and the Ethics Committee for the Association of Missing & Exploited Children’s Organizations. Responsibilities have included advising on scope of national problem; media relations; development of state and federal legislation; development of model policy for law enforcement agencies; development of DNA collection kits; development of training curriculum and facilitation of first national law enforcement training program funded through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, facilitating training and work groups for law enforcement agencies throughout the country.
- Kym has received special recognitions from the Office of Victims of Crime at the US Department of Justice, members of Congress, and special award for Leadership presented by Arizona Attorney General, Terry Goddard, for her unwavering commitment to improve the lives of victims of crime.
- Kym also founded Life Corrections in 2005, and has dedicated much of her time assisting women inmates by sharing her personal story about overcoming adversity. Whether sharing her perspective on life with prisoners or the mainstream public, Kym’s’ poignant life story continues to touch the lives of many.

- Kym is a 46-yr old, single mother and founder of Life Corrections. She has dedicated much of her time to women inmates. Pasqualini speaks about her own life experiences and overcoming adversity. Whether sharing her perspective on life with prisoners or the mainstream public, Kym’s poignant life story continues to touch the lives of many.
EXPERIENCE
Founder of the Nation’s Missing Children Organization (NMCO) in 1994. In 1995, Kym identified missing persons over the age of eighteen, to include the family members impacted by the disappearance of their loved ones as a segment of the victim population with minimal resources and expanded charter to assist law enforcement and families of missing adults. In 2000, President Clinton appropriated funding to enable Kym to formally establish a congressionally funded national clearinghouse for missing adults. The National Center for Missing Adults was created, through a grant from the United stated Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance.
- Managed all aspects of nonprofit agency activities (13 employees, 225 volunteers).
- Policy development to include business policy, case management, crisis response for law enforcement agencies and health care professionals, and information management.
- Provide investigative assistance, policy development, technical assistance and training programs to law enforcement agencies throughout the country; developed training curriculum for national law enforcement training program in cooperation with the Bureau of Justice Assistance, United States Department of Justice and Fox Valley Technical College.
- Provide crisis response, intervention and long-term care services to crime victims.
- Public Information Officer/Consultant working with local and national media.
- Develop state and federal legislation; lobbying and various other legislative activities.
- Public Speaking; group facilitator; trainer; life skills coaching.
- Managed Hurricane Katrina Crisis Call Center (managed 13,502 missing person reports, resolved 99.8% of all reports).
Having served 15 years as a community leader and advocate for under-served victim populations throughout the country, Kym has had the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of vocations within the government and private sector. Working with local, state and federal agencies within the criminal justice community has also provided a wide-range of field based experience.
